I have a dotcom!

That's what Tyler gave to me!!

Ok, so maybe it's not the same as the other dotcoms, but that's what makes SPECIAL!! And we've spent the last week putting a really cool flash website together so that all the photo biz info and galleries are in one place. Oh, I still have the blog too. But am sooooo thrilled to have a great site where I can send clients and friends who want to know more about what I do . Check it out!

About SAPY

[Picture+012.jpg]

Hi there. Thanks for stopping by my little blog. I am Steph York also know as SAPY. Yes, those are my real initials. And this is me. This was taken a few years ago, but since I hardly am on THAT side of the camera, it will do.

I like
my boys
my camera
diet coke
the dog
my house
my friends

Not necessarily in that order. Depends on the day. This was a good day.

During my 10 years as a professional photographer and as my children have grown, I have developed a passion for documenting our lives and the lives of those around us. I have found it a great way to hold on to the little moments that have brought us all together; the people that I cherish most. I am very grateful to have these images to reflect and recount the wonderful times in our lives.

I take this philosophy and apply it to my work. I approach each session as I would my own.  I shoot relaxed lifestyle portraits – which is simply a personalized photo shoot just for you.  I think it is important not only to photograph each individual and the groups, but to capture the moments in between when everything is real.  The laughs, the giggles, the frowns, interactions between each person. I believe everyone should have amazing and beautiful images to be able to look back on and treasure that represent who they are as a person, not just a prop in front of a silly over-used backdrop.  I take great pride in making my images unique and to offer you a fun, easy and relaxed experience. I love knowing at the end of the shoot that we have not only gained amazing photos, but great friends as well.

Thanks you so much for visiting my site. I hope to hear from you soon. To contact me, please click HERE. To visit my website and get more information about sessions, click HERE.
